Drama & Musical Program

Horizon Middle School offers two musical productions each school year:

• 6th Grade Fall Musical – September–October
• Combined 7th & 8th Grade Spring Musical – December–March/Early April

Meeting Days & Times

During production seasons, rehearsals are generally held Monday–Friday from 3:45–5:00 p.m. Rehearsal days and times may vary depending on the production schedule.

When Does Drama Start?

The start of the program depends on the student's grade level:

6th Grade:
The fall musical begins in September, with rehearsals taking place throughout September and October.

7th & 8th Grade:
The spring musical process begins in December with auditions. Rehearsals begin in January, with the production typically taking place in March or early April.

Students should listen for school announcements for information about auditions, registration, and starting dates.
